I den forbindelse var den harde kjerne i AMJK invitert på gebursdagskalas på lørdag. I et par hektiske uke på forhånd hadde medlemmer fra klubben i all hemmelighet laget en helt spesiell modul i gave til Halvor, og denne ble avduket på festen. Stedet er igjen Barbu Menighetshus hvor vi har vært tidligere om årene. Her har vi en sal på rundt 200 m2 til rådighet, samt tilhørende kjøkken og peisestue. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Tema og epoke&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Tema for anlegget blir som vanlig en hovedbane (Sørlandsbanen?) med flere sidebaner. Arendal – Treungen-banen med kryssingen av Sørlandsbanen på Nelaug vil sannsynligvis være en del av dette, men vi ser gjerne noen nye moduler som kan skape nye utfordringer på anlegget. Så får vi se hvilke moduler vi har til rådighet når treffet nærmer seg. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Vi kommer til å fokusere på epoken 1960 – 1970, og ønsker at rullende materiell som brukes fortrinnsvis skal reflektere denne tidsperioden.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Tidsramme for treffet&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Treffet starter med opprigging av anlegget fredag formiddag. Vi håper at alle som skal delta med moduler har mulighet til å komme så tidlig som mulig denne fredagen, slik at vi kan ha anlegget kjøreklart i løpet av kvelden.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Lørdag morgen starter vi klokken 09:00 med første kjøresesjon, og så får vi se hvor mange ”modelldager” vi klarer å gjennomføre fram til søndag klokken 14:00.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Påmelding&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Påmelding skjer direkte til Tore Hjellset, AMJK på email post(a)autoclassic.no . Tore’s telefonnummer er 415 44620. Fristen for påmelding av moduler og rullende materiell er satt til 14. januar 2010, mens påmelding for deltakere uten moduler og materiell må skje innen 25. februar 2010. Grunnet plassbegrensinger er det mulig at vi må sette et tak på antall deltakere på treffet.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;&lt;b&gt;Moduler og materiell&lt;/b&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Ved påmelding av nye moduler må en målskisse vedlegges. Moduler som har vært brukt i Arendal ved tidligere anledninger er sannsynligvis allerede registrert. For moduler med sidespor, stasjoner osv. må vi ha en kort beskrivelse av sporenes funksjon slik at det er mulig å planlegge godstrafikken på anlegget. Vi ønsker også en kort kommentar til modulenes utseende, dvs. i hvilken grad landskapet er ”ferdig”.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Informasjon om påmeldte moduler sendes Tore på email.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Vi er spesielt interessert i å få med flere strekningsmoduler, både rette og kurver, og vil foretrekke moduler som har et rimelig ferdig utseende. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Materiell som skal brukes må ha trådkobbel. Det er viktig at funksjonen til trådkobbelet er sjekket før treffet, slik at vi kan unngå driftsproblemer. Faste vognstammer kan ha andre typer kobbel internt, men må ha trådkobbel på begge endene. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Alt rullende materiell skal i utgangspunktet være utstyrt med hjul tilsvarende RP25.&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div style="font-family: Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif;"&gt;Alle lok må ha DCC-kompatibel dekoder. Lok skal fortrinnsvis være forberedt med adresse i henhold til FREMO-Norge’s nummerserie. Kontakt Halvor for tildeling av adresse. For å dekke utgifter vil vi kreve inn et beløp fra hver av treffdeltakerne, kr. 300 for FREMO-medlemmer og kr. 400 for ikke-medlemmer. Felles bespisning på lørdag kveld er inkludert. Vi var med på dette arrangementet også i fjor, så det er vel like før dette kan kalles en juletradisjon. Biblioteket og anlegget vårt var godt besøkt og vi fikk kjørt masse tog!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Anlegget bestod av Froland, Grimstad og Vallekilen stasjoner og vi kjørte 3-4 togstammer frem og tilbake på anlegget med litt skifting i begge ender og underveis på Vallekilen.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.autoclassic.no/amjk/2010bibliotek/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="270" src="http://www.autoclassic.no/amjk/2010bibliotek/1.jpg" width="400" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;Bm87.71 på Froland stasjon venter på å få klarsignal for å legge i vei mot Vallekilen.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.autoclassic.no/amjk/2010bibliotek/2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="306" src="http://www.autoclassic.no/amjk/2010bibliotek/2.jpg" width="400" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;Grimstad stasjon med mange interesserte tilskuere. Anlegget ble bygget i en U-form hvor publikum stod på utsiden og vi på innsiden. Den ligger, som navnet indikerer, på en øy adskilt fra fastlandet av et smalt sund som heter Vignolbukta. På denne øya, og i umiddelbar nærhet, har det gjennom tiden vokst opp et svært livskraftig samfunn med betydelig industri og annen virksomhet. Skipsverft, mekanisk industri, møbelfabrikk, sagbruk og cementvarefabrikk er noen av bedriftene, og en større havn som også betjener ”landet innenfor”.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;tbody&gt;&lt;tr&gt;&lt;td style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="271" src="http://www.autoclassic.no/amjk/bilder/hib2.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="400" /&gt;&lt;/td&gt;&lt;/tr&gt;&lt;tr&gt;&lt;td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"&gt;Bm87.71 på vei med passasjerer fra Hansholm til Høl.&lt;/td&gt;&lt;/tr&gt;&lt;/tbody&gt;&lt;/table&gt;&lt;div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.autoclassic.no/amjk/bilder/hib2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"&gt;&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/div&gt;På 1920-tallet innså bedriftseierne på Hansholm at de trengte en jernbanetilknytning. NSB hadde en linje som passerte det lille stedet Høl innenfor Hansholm, men var i utgangspunktet lite villig til å forlenge banen ut til Hansholm. De lokale bedriftseierne gikk derfor sammen om å bygge Hansholm IndustriBaner (HIB) fra Høl via Kroken, Myra, over Vignolbukta til Verven og Hansholm Havn. Grunnet virksomheten i og ved Vignolbukta ble broa over denne utført some en vippebro, noe som etterhvert skapte en del hodebry for driften. Materiell til banen var i hovedsak begrenset til et par mindre lok og noen vogner for vedlikehold og drift. Gods til og fra bedriftene ble normalt fraktet på NSB-vogner eller vogner fra utenlandske jernbaneselskap. &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;tbody&gt;&lt;tr&gt;&lt;td style="text-align: center;"&gt;&lt;img border="0" height="321" src="http://www.autoclassic.no/amjk/bilder/hib1.jpg" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" width="400" /&gt;&lt;/td&gt;&lt;/tr&gt;&lt;tr&gt;&lt;td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"&gt;Oversikt over HIBs jernbanenett. NSB bestemte seg derfor for å bygge en egen linje til Hansholm by slik at de i alle fall kunne opprette persontrafikk til den voksende byen. Men siden HIB hadde bygget sin linje først og fremst for å betjene bedriftene så valgte NSB å delvis legge sin linje i en egen øvre trase med en fagverksbro over Vignolbukta og en mer direkte tilknytning til Hansholm by. Begge selskapene bruker hele linjenettet, men NSB kjører normalt på den øvre linja, og HIB på den nedre.&lt;br /&gt;Når vi idag ser på bildene av Hansholm by og området rundt gir det et noe uferdig inntrykk, men det er først og fremst på grunn av de stadige endringer og tilpasninger som de aktive bedriftene i Hansholm gjør for å være konkurransedyktige i dagens marked. I år var vi ca. 40 deltakere som hygget oss og kjørte tog hele helgen. Anlegget bestod av en hovedlinje mellom to oppstillingsstasjoner og tre forskjellige sidebaner. Hovedlinja bestod av stasjonene, Skuggevik, Skillerud, Tremetsrud, Nelaug, Vallekilen, Paalsrud og Centralstasjonen. Ut fra Nelaug gikk en sidelinje bestående av : Bøylestad, Rise, Froland og Solåsen. Ut i fra Rise gikk det en ny sidebane til Grimstad via, Gaukaas. GFB har bakgrunn i det virkeligheten, da det var et privat selskap med dette navn som anla banen til Grimstad i 1907. Her er den første lille sniktitten på stasjonen slik den ser ut under bygging. Det kommer både lokstall og svingskive på modulen, slik det var i smalsporstiden. Vallekilen er på vei til å bli ny og fin, men ikveld fortsatte vi med oppsetting av gjerder, telegrafstolper og planting av gress på Halvors 90-graders sving som har vært med oss siden tidenens morgen. Det er utrolig hva litt bunnvegetasjon, trær og litt detaljer kan gjøre med utseendet til en tilårskommen modul. Forrige uke ble første planmessige kjøresesjon avholdt med Jeppestøl og 3 andre medlemmer som arbeidsstokk. Vi har alle vært med på mange kjøresesjoner på diverse Fremotreff, men det var interessant å gjøre det i en litt mindre skala på et hjemmeanlegg! Vår lille klubb har vel egentlig nok moduler å lagre på og vedlikeholde, og mange av disse bærer preg av å ha vært med oss rundt i mange år. Vi vil derfor i tiden fremover heller forsøke å forbedre noen av de modulene vi har hatt i drift lenge, og som vi fremdeles ønsker å benytte oss av. Noen andre er allerede utrangert, eller iallefall hensatt inntil videre.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;En av de tidligste modulene er Steinar Jeppestøls "Vallekilen". Denne har klart seg meget bra, og det er en morsom liten modul, så vi begynte i kveld med en oppgradering av den. Her er FB's første og eneste motorvogn som for tiden er under bygging hos Sannæs motorvognmakeri. På benken foran stasjonsbygningen sitter en tidsriktig og moderne antrukket jente, og venter på at sin kjære skal komme med toget fra Treungen.&lt;br /&gt;   Gaukaas stasjon er bygget av Halvor Sannæs og har FREMO-grensesnitt. På Gaukaas har Halvor også laget begynnelsen til en liten smalsporsbane, nemlig den planglagte, men aldri realiserte Fyresdalsbanen. Etter flere år med        bygging av et stort fastanlegg ble vi tvunget å flytte fra våre        lokaler. Vi begynte derfor i felleskap som de første i&lt;a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://www.autoclassic.no/amjk/graphics/Pictures/2007%20gardermoen/mCIMG0101.jpg"&gt;&lt;img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer; width: 320px;" src="http://www.autoclassic.no/amjk/graphics/Pictures/2007%20gardermoen/mCIMG0101.jpg" alt="" border="0" /&gt;&lt;/a&gt; Norge å        bygge såkalte Fremo-moduler etter en tysk modulstandard med et enkelt        standardisert grensesnitt. Med disse kunne vi lett bygge vårt nye        anlegg i seksjoner slik at vi kunne unngå problemet med de nå        manglende klubblokalene og attpåtil ta dem med og sette dem opp sammen        med andres moduler. Forbildet for disse modulene har vi funnet rett utenfor        stuedøren, nemlig Arendal- Treungenbanen. Modulene bygges enkeltvis        og gjerne hjemme hos det enkelte medlem, men vi har også et stort        fellesprosjekt som er byggingen av Nelaug stasjon.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt; Flere av medlemmene har også hjemmeanlegg av vidt forskjellig karakter        som er under bygging.
